The goal of this assignment was to create a poster for the Type Directors Club based on a single letter that was randomly drawn. The letter I got was "Z" and I was heavly inspired by posters that have a sense of mystery to them. I wanted the main graphic to be eyecatching and mysterious to draw people in and encourage them to read the body copy. I warped a Z into an eye to achieve this goal.
